I’m Patrick Patterson, and I’m proud to be running for Bell County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1. I was raised right here in this community—I went to school here, work here, and built relationships that have shaped who I am today.
Priorities
As Justice of the Peace, my work is guided by fairness, accessibility, and community trust. I am committed to ensuring that every decision in the courtroom is made with integrity, consistency, and common sense, so that everyone who walks through those doors is treated with respect and equality. I believe the justice system should be approachable and easy to understand, and I will work to make court processes clear, transparent, and accessible to all. Most importantly, I will continue building strong relationships within our community so that the justice system reflects the values, voices, and needs of the people it serves.
Fair & Consistent Application of the Law
Every individual deserves equal and respectful treatment in the courtroom. I will ensure that all decisions are based on the law, guided by integrity, and applied consistently—free from politics or personal bias. By prioritizing fairness, we can strengthen public confidence in our local justice system.
Accessibility & Transparency
Justice should never feel intimidating or out of reach. I am committed to clear communication, understandable court procedures, and resources that help residents feel informed and respected every step of the way. My goal is to make the court accessible and ensure that every person knows their rights and the process.
Community Trust & Engagement
A Justice of the Peace serves the community, not above it. I will continue to engage with residents, schools, local organizations, and community leaders to understand concerns and gather input on how the court can better serve everyone. By listening to the people of Precinct 1 and Bell County, fostering meaningful connections, we can ensure the justice system reflects our shared values and strengthens our community.
